I was delighted to support Andy Street, the West Midlands Mayoral Candidate, Birmingham Campaign Day on Saturday 11th February 2017 with Conservative Party supporters, councillors, volunteers and candidates.

The campaign team were supported by Andrew Sharpe, Vice President of the National Conservative Convention. Volunteers came from as far as Oxford to assist. Activists enjoyed dropping the Andy Street for West Midlands surveys and letters.

Andy Street welcomed the supporters and thanked everyone rallying behind his campaign. During the morning, Andy explained why he is the people’s choice with his 30 years business credentials and success at John Lewis as former MD. It was evident only Andy Street can deliver real change for the West Midlands.

Together his plan will restore the West Midlands rightful place as the leading region of the UK. The West Midlands Mayor is a huge and important job, former power over £8billion of investment, control over transport, and long term housing provision.

Despite a frosty, snowy morning, letters were delivered in Selly Oak and Northfield Constituencies.
