Parveen Hassan & Wendy Morton MP
I was delighted to rally with the troops in support of Conservatives in the borough of Copeland, Western Cumbria.

Early morning rise, I travelled to Egremont via Carlisle with the generosity of the Carlisle Conservative Association, I managed to visit a constituency in the north to take part in a super action day, led by volunteers.

77-strong group of activists gathered in Egremont to spread the word about the Conservatives campaign to secure the future for Copeland.

Volunteers came from post Christmas and festive holidays to team up. We travelled from the Lake District, Cumbria, Greater London, Midlands, and Essex.

MP’s taking a short break in Yorkshire and the Lake District, volunteered too.

It was nice to visit a part of the country to meet residents and leaflet in local communities. Local people will be vital in determining the outcome of Copeland.

It was encouraging to see so many dedicated activists travel six hour journeys to get to Egremont, out in support of our excellent team. The post winter exercise allowed us to meet long distance friends at specific meeting points.

The weather helped us explore the beauty of the north, and our activists received a very warm welcome in Egremont. We all hope to visit the beauty of Cumbria very soon.
