The Midlands region is truly on the map and in more ways than one. It's a boost for the economy with the recent pledges coming through by the Chancellor George Osborne. Birmingham our second city is not at lost. George Osborne is developing the case for electrifying the main rail lines between Bristol and Birmingham, and Derby and Birmingham as part of the regional transport infrastructure plans. The tour started in the East Midlands and progressed through Solihull and Birmingham.

Team 2015 activists also had the opportunity to meet the PM David Cameron at a private reception, a moral boost for the hard working campaigners. The PM's popularity is much to be envied by the opposition, he can attract crowds of over 100 at very, very short notice!

Let's keep the campaign on the road to a stronger economy for 2015, with  less than 100 days to go for the upcoming general election, Midlands is in the heartland of it all, and support our Midlands local and Parliamentary Candidates.
