The highly anticipated report emphasises the need for school sixth-forms, colleges and universities to attract candidates with recruitment targets.
The revamp to the education system is required; within the report is part of the national strategy to promote subjects in the field of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Education Minister Elizabeth Truss quoted in the Telegraph,
"The sciences are not niche subjects- they are crucial for success in the modern world. But in the past outdated assumptions about what girls are suited to have meant they have been put off studying them."
