David Cameron PM is receiving some sound advice and warnings on the matter of women and representation, Telegraph highlights two articles worth reading from the views of Dame Helen Ghosh and Telegraph's Women's Editor Emma Barnett.

At Conservative Party conference there were women surrounding the PM, yet the concerns highlighted further reinforce his challenges to engage with women and policies which are welcomed by all.

It's been an issue from the outset whether perceptions or justification, he's produced recent female, junior ministerial appointments with Esther Mcvey MP and others however counteracted negativity with exits such as Caroline Spelman MP from Cabinet.

Progress takes time and the impatience of some voicing their concerns will add some pressure to the ongoing debate.
