Do you want to learn more about Conservative Women in the Birmingham Heartlands Area?

As the chairman for the Birmingham Heartlands Area of West Midlands CWO. I hope to bring women together from all walks of life to empower them to take an active part in the party and campaigns, especially now we are running a campaign in 2011 local elections. I'm always looking for volunteers and share what I have experienced throughout the general election campaign trail in 2010.

The CWO provides a focus and support for every woman in the Conservative Party. Our aim is to encourage and enable women to stand for office at all levels of the Conservative Party. The newly formulated West Midlands CWO does just that within the locality.

In Birmingham Heartlands Area covering the Birmingham constituencies, I aim to promote the cause to new women who have not previously engaged with politics. I serve on the executive team on the developments and local needs.

I also provide support to women from different backgrounds. I want to attract a diverse range of women from the Bangladeshi, South Asian communities who are under represented in political and civic life according to previous women in equal opportunity commission reports which has been decommissioned. Historically gender inequality exists amongst these particular women and disparities to education and employment and political spheres.

The role CWO plays in reaching women and listening to women will play a vital part in helping to win the women’s vote at the next local elections in May 2011. They host a series of development days.

I will provide and share what is yet to be an exciting campaign strategy day in February on AV at CCHQ West Midlands and other topics of interest.

I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to the Birmingham Heartlands CWO. So if you have time to share and learn more, please do participate when ever time permits however small or major you can contribute, it would be a delight to have your company. Please assist us make the difference for women and families.

I also look forward to meeting you at the debates & Question Time panels held in Birmingham and some of the many  women lunches (both political and social) which I am hosting in the near future.

Please contact me and register your interest.
