Highlights, the day with the photographic exhibition of survivors and children revealing their stories, how they feel safe amongst the floating support service provision and refuge.
Women with stakeholders in unity, observed the exhibition and launch, to understand how we can prevent further crimes and support women survivors by endorsing projects like these. The images although disheartening and painful reminded the members how we must not be complacent in ensuring safety measures for these women.
Organisations, local cabinet leads in supporting adults and children jointly welcomed the BSWA work.
I was deeply hurt by the images from the young children from abandoned homes, friends and precious toys they left behind for their own safety, truly touched. The canvas art exhibits captured sadness, isolation, loneliness and fear in tears were mainly displayed.
The images all had a sense of commonality; unhappiness and regret.
